The issues and solutions after the industrial PC is powered on

Ⅰ. There is no display after the industrial computer is powered on.

1. There is a continuous alarm sound when the rugged industrial PC is turned on and the screen does not display. It may be due to poor memory oxidation contact or memory failure. You can reinsert the memory or replace the memory after the power is turned off. If after replacing the memory, there is still a continuous alarm sound when the rugged industrial computer is turned on, consider replacing the industrial motherboard.

2. There is no output when the IPC is turned on. You first confirm whether the IPC is connected to an external capture card or motion control card. If so, remove the external card and then power on the test.

3. There is no alarm sound when the industrial computer is turned on and the screen has no display. You can first discharge the CMOS and then start the test. If there is still no display, it may be that the CPU is in poor contact. After the power is off, reinstall the CPU or replace the CPU. If there is no display, consider replacing the motherboard.

Ⅱ. Power-on protection of the industrial computer.

The status of the power-on protection of the industrial box PC is to power off immediately after power-on. You can first determine whether the power supply is protected, remove the power connector from the motherboard, and short the green line on the 20PIN of the power supply and any black line, if the electric fan rotates normally, the power supply is not faulty.

1. The protection of the industrial motherboard may be due to a short circuit or fault on the motherboard, such as screws or water ingress inside the industrial computer.

2. Power protection, there is damage inside the power supply.

3. When the motherboard is connected to the aviation head, it should be noted that the positive and negative poles cannot be reversed.

Ⅲ. There is a display after the industrial computer is powered on.

1. The IPC prompts a GRUB error after the self-check or the cursor is flashing in the upper left corner, mostly because the master boot record of the IPC system is damaged, and the master boot record needs to be rebuilt.

2. If the blue screen occurs during the startup process of the industrial computer,you can first determine whether the hard disk mode is correct. WIN XP is IDE mode, and WIN 7 and above can use IDE or AHCI mode. If there is no problem with the mode, re-insert the memory or replace the memory. If the blue screen is still present, consider reinstalling the system.

3. After the industrial computer is powered on, it directly enters the BIOS. If the hard disk is not found,you can first check whether the hard disk is loose. If there is no looseness, you can replace the SATA cable and hard disk.

4. After the industrial computer enters the system, the USB interface cannot be used. You can reinstall the USB driver. In other cases, you can reinstall the system.

5. The industrial computer keeps restarting after being powered on. You can initialize the BIOS first and then test it. If it cannot be solved, consider replacing the memory and motherboard.

6. If the industrial computer starts normally but the hard disk reports an error or the hard disk is lost, you can change the hard disk mode in the BIOS.

7.After the industrial computer enters the system, the display is blurry. You can disable the graphics card to view it. If there is no display after disabling, replace the CPU and test again.

8. After the industrial computer enters the system and finds that the time is wrong, you can adjust the time first, then shut down the machine and cut off the 220V power supply, and then power on after 2 minutes. If the time cannot be saved, You can first use a multimeter to measure the power of the button battery, whether there is about 3V power supply, and replace the battery if the power is insufficient. If the battery power is normal, but the time cannot be saved, the circuit of the motherboard may be abnormal.

9. If the industrial box computer has a blue screen, restart or freeze during use, first check the heat dissipation of the industrial computer (whether the CPU fan and chassis fan are abnormal), and eliminate similar situations caused by system and software problems. If the problem still exists, it can test whether the hard disk has bad sectors.
